Chapter Twenty Six
Before the Beginning
Now I would like to go back into the beginning of God’s plan and try to hear what the Lord has to say about why all of these thing are true. You might think -- How can we know such things for sure? Only God knows these things. That is true but -- if God chooses to tell us about these things -- then we can know about them.
Most people that I have met don’t want to know such Truth because it stops them from living on in their ignorance. To know The Truth as Jesus taught it makes us realize that we are accountable for what we believe.
(Isa 45:3 KJV) And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
God the Father -- Son -- and Holy Spirit existed together in the infinite past -- eternal beings -- enjoying their love -- joy and peace with each other. During that time -- they planned what they would do in the forever future. During that infinite past they were at rest with each other. We can’t even begin to understand the joy of the relationship that existed between the Father -- Son -- and Holy Spirit.
I believe that we were all there with God -- but only in seed form -- conscience of ourselves but not as we are now. We were -- as it were -- the sperm of God -- spirit beings but not having come forth yet as men and women. Eternity is in the heart of man -- but he isn’t conscience of it until God awakens him to his purpose in life. When we are born into this world -- we are of the substance of our parents -- men and women spiritually dead. When we are born again -- we are spiritually alive and of the substance of our Father God.
(Heb 4:1 KJV) Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
(Heb 4:10 KJV) For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Jehovah means -- the self-existing one that reveals Himself. God is a self-existing God and doesn’t need anything outside of Himself in order to live forever.
We can understand that the three of them -- Father -- Son and Holy Spirit planning out the future because we -- as created being that are made in His image -- enjoy planning out our future. The Bible says that God knows all of the things that He will ever do before He even started creating. (Acts 15:18 KJV) Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
After the plan in God’s heart is complete -- then -- at the appointed time God says -- It is time to begin creation or -- in the beginning. This is the beginning of the forever future and God is saying -- Now --I will create the Heavens and the Earth for the first time.
When God creates something it is an eternal creation. God never goes back and un-creates it. That thing or being will exist forever -- either in the perfect will of God -- experiencing what God created it for -- or outside the will of God -- experiencing the pain of never being fulfilled.
I realize that I am saying what God said before He actually said it -- but what I’m illustrating is that God thinks out what He is going to do and then -- because of what He did that is recorded in the Bible -- we know approximately what He thought before He did it.
That is another Bible Truth. Belief always comes before action. That is why your actions reveal what you believe and who you believe. God is a God of order and when He does something – the way He does it establishes it as how things are to be done.
(Gen 1:1 KJV) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. -- but before He created the Heavens and the Earth -- He knew everything that He would do and He foresaw all the choices that men would make and what He would do about those choices. There are no surprises to God.
God knows our choices before we make them -- but He waits until we make our choice before He moves in response to it. That is why a personal prophecy for our blessing is only going to come to pass if we follow the laws of the Kingdom. It’s following the will of the Lord that brings the prophecy to pass. All personal prophecies about blessings are conditional on the person doing the will of the Lord.
All personal prophecies about evil will only come to pass if we forsake the laws of the Kingdom of God.
