Chapter Twenty Eight
God does Works to be Blessed
So -- in the beginning of Creation -- Gen.1:1 -- God created the Heavens and the Earth. In doing so -- He did it by the breath of His mouth or His spoken Word. Christ spoke and Creation stood fast. Christ did not do it by the works of His hands.
Then -- after Lucifer gave his voice to The Lie and The Lie came to life -- belief of The Lie caused Satan to believe that he could exalt his throne above God’s throne and he believed he could do it by his own effort -- or works. Satan also believed that he could do that and not die.
Then because Creation was cursed by the works of The Lie – Christ the Truth restored creation by the works of His hands. In doing that -- Christ did works to be blessed. We need to make a mental note of this because this Truth explains where Sin came from and will later reveal how God will deal with Sin. There is a great key of Truth hidden here.
This is that Truth --

Life that comes forth out of death -- resurrection life -- is the only life that is eternally blessed. It is inherited life from the dead. It is better than grace life that comes forth from life. That means that resurrected life that comes out of death is perfect and life that comes forth from working can only be good but not eternally blessed. The life given before the Cross wasn’t eternally blessed except through the belief in the promise of the Cross. Without the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross there is no such thing as a blessed life.

How do we know that is true? Because if it weren’t -- the Creation that came forth from the work of God’s hands -- in Gen. 1:3 -- would have been better than resurrected life that came forth out of the death of Jesus on the Cross.
If that were true -- then the New Kingdom of God would be less perfect than when God restored creation in Gen. 1:3. That can’t be true because God keeps making things better -- not worse. God never goes backwards and makes something inferior. He always makes things better and better.
Yet another point – God really isn’t making things better and better because He makes all thing perfect to start with – but that perfectness comes out of the process that God chooses to create things. First He lays the foundation and the foundation of the coming Kingdom of God is resting on the death of The Lie and its fruit. When the Lie is dead – the Truth reigns. It’s not that anything that God makes isn’t perfect from the start -- but we don’t understand the process until it unfolds.
The Process Unfolded
So we see a building process going on. First the foundation – then the Temple. The foundation isn’t inferior -- it is merely buried in the place of dead things. The dead thing that the Kingdom of God is resting on is the dead Lie.
Well – killing The Lie is what Jesus Christ did and so it’s a part of the whole Temple. So the things that have happened to make the foundation sure seem like mistakes – but they are necessary because they make up the foundation where resurrection life comes from. You have to die before you can be raised in resurrection life. Death seems like a mistake to us – but it isn’t because it is the way to the resurrection.
Many Christians haven’t even considered that there is any difference between the Creation now and the one to come. But we read in --
(Heb 1:10 KJV) And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
(Heb 1:11 KJV) They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
(Heb 1:12 KJV) And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
This reveals that the present Creation is going to be changed into a new Creation and it will be a Creation that will last forever. It is called the Kingdom of God.
How Creation came forth can be compared with our personal relationship with the Lord. The first creation that came forth from the breath of God in Gen.1:1 established relationship with God. It was pure from Sin and like a child before God.
Creation’s relationship with God as Creator was pure and childlike until Sin was found in it. Adam and Eve’s relationship with God as Creator was pure and childlike before God -- until Sin was found in them.
Created things also showed that God was infinitely greater than created things no matter how great God had made them. Yet -- they were the product of His love and so --they were in the highest place in relationship to Him.
