Between Two Eternities
Living between two eternities has been the experience of mankind ever since the Cross of Jesus Christ.
The first eternal Kingdom is the Alpha Kingdom of God. The last eternal Kingdom is the Omega Kingdom of God. The Cross of Christ is the event that divides the two eternities.
(Rev 22:13 KJV) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
(Rev 22:14 KJV) Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
(Rev 22:15 KJV) For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
This is saying that whosoever loves and bands together to establish this Lie will not enter the final or Omega Kingdom of God
(Rev 21:6 KJV) And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
(Rev 21:7 KJV) He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Note that he who overcomes this Lie will inherit all things. This person will inherit -- not earn -- but will inherit. Inherit is something you get because someone dies to give it to you. When I get to that place of inheriting all things -- God calls me His Son because I’m of the same substance as God’s Son: Jesus the Christ.
Well -- if they are eternal Kingdoms; How can there be a first and last? It is that way because the ending of the first Kingdom is the foundation of the last Kingdom. As the first Kingdom passes through death -- it becomes the foundation of the everlasting Kingdom called the “Omega Kingdom” of which there will be no end.
A thing is eternal if it lasts forever -- even if it is dead. Dead is the sense that it is the place of death and it is buried forever -- yet -- it is holding up the living Kingdom and therefore -- has an eternal use.
The first eternity was the laying of the foundation for the last eternity to be built on. The entry of Sin brought death to the first eternity. The first eternity died at the Cross where Christ the Lord and Jesus the King both gave up their lives as payment for Sin.
Sin is The Lie that says we can be our own god and bless ourselves forever and we won’t die. The Lord Christ surrendered His Lordship to Jesus the King when Jesus was baptized with the Holy Spirit. Remember -- Jesus isn’t just the King of the whole Earth; He is the King of the Universe.
Jesus -- the King -- submitted His authority to Christ -- the Lord -- at His baptism. The two -- Christ the Lord and Jesus the King -- became one in agreement and purpose at that time. They were really one from before the beginning -- but their outward agreement was legally established in Creation at Jesus’ baptism.
To establish that Covenant -- both of them died on the Cross in each other. Spiritual death is when a being agrees that they are no longer lord over themselves -- but have submitted their lives into the hands of God the Father’s appointed authority.
When Adam and Eve were born -- they both came into the world as one person in each other. God called their name Adam -- but both of them were present in one body at the point of creation.
(Gen 5:2 KJV) Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
Adam and Eve came into the world in one body and Jesus the Christ left this world in one body.
When Jesus the Christ left this world they both left together in each other.
Eve broke the covenant she had with Adam when they were created.
She did that by usurping Adam’s authority from him and chose to bless them by her own way.
Christ the Lord sealed His covenant with Jesus the King by submitting Himself to death by Jesus’ choice in the Garden of Gethsemane. All things were made right at the Cross and Sin was swallowed up in righteousness. Sin was made righteousness when it died because dead Sin is what righteousness is. Where Sin is dead -- righteous-ness reigns.
Correction for Sin was established starting in the Godhead first. The death of Christ the Lord of eternity past -- the God of the Alpha Kingdom -- happened when He indwelt Jesus the King and went to the Cross in Jesus the King. That established the foundation of eternity future where Jesus the King is Lord of all. Christ’s power is submitted to Jesus’ authority at the Cross.
Now -- an even greater wonder is to realize that the same things are true in each of us. Christ has submitted Himself to us when He indwells us at our new birth. He remains dead to His own will in our dirt bodies until we die to self-rule and submit ourselves to Him as Lord over us. Then -- He comes alive in us and we begin to reign with Him in our place of appointed service to our Father. We are a King in that Kingdom within and Christ is Lord of that Kingdom within just as Jesus the Christ is the King of Kings.
When the power of Christ -- in Jesus the King -- causes all things to bow their knee to the authority of Jesus the King -- then Jesus the King will submit Himself to the Father that God will be all in all.
(1 Cor 15:28 KJV) And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
