How Do Angels Fit Into This
Well -- What about the obedient angels that didn’t agree with that Lie and didn’t choose it for themselves? How come they came under the sentence of death: Angels like Michael and Gabriel?
Because after Sin entered into Creation a choice was set before each being in the Alpha Kingdom. Until that free choice is made -- all things in that Creation are under the sentence of death just because they are a part of that Creation.
It is hard to imagine a situation like that -- but maybe this likeness will help. Supposing you were a child and you were born and raised in a country with a good king and a blessed land. You had never considered that there was any reason to leave this land and the thought had never entered your mind to live somewhere else.
Then one day -- you get a message from your king that he is going to move to another land because the land you live in now has come under a curse and will not be blessed any longer. All who want to follow the king will have to leave everything they have behind and submit themselves again to the complete will of the king and his choice for their lives.
If any citizen doesn’t want to do that -- they can’t come to the new land where the king is going. If you decide to come with the king -- he promises to give you a much greater blessing than you had before.
That is the decision set before every being in the original Alpha Kingdom. That is also the decision before every person in the world today. The Lord Jesus Christ is moving to a new Kingdom where He is Lord over all that choose to go with Him.
The Lord doesn’t want citizens of His Kingdom because they have no other choice; He wants citizens that want Him to be King over them and so -- each being has to choose to die to self-rule to be able to become a citizen of the Omega Kingdom.
Sodom and Gomorrah are perfect examples of that Truth: When it was time to judge those cities -- the righteous were told to leave. If they didn’t leave -- they died in the judgement -- because choosing not to leave was the same as choosing to stay in that kingdom.
God is telling us to get into His eternal Omega Kingdom. If we don’t do it -- we will die with the Alpha Kingdom. God told Noah to get into the Ark to leave the kingdom that was sentenced to death. Choosing to not get into the boat meant you’ve chosen to stay in the kingdom that God had sentenced to death.
Choosing not to join myself to a murderer in what he is doing doesn’t mean that I have chosen righteousness as a way of life. I could still choose to be my own lord and become a thief instead of a murderer. I must submit myself unconditionally -- to Jesus the Christ as Lord. That means that He is Lord over me in all my choices or I can’t live in His Kingdom.
We need to keep crystal clear what that means when we say choose Jesus as Lord over us. It means that: we choose to have the Lord be our God and King and that it is His responsibility to give us all the blessings of His Kingdom as gifts by inheritance. Now -- who wouldn’t want that for themselves?
As soon as the choice is made -- to submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ -- I become a citizen of the Omega Kingdom and pass from death to life -- called resurrection life. You see -- the Cross is the symbol of the death of your own lordship over yourself and when you choose to submit to the Lordship of Jesus the King -- you have died on the Cross; You have passed through the Door which is Christ.
Christ the Lord who looks at eternity from outside of it -- looked and remembered from before the beginning of Creation that He had driven a stake into the Earth to mark the end of that Alpha Kingdom when Sin came into it. On that stake -- all things pertaining to that Alpha Kingdom would die -- including Himself who is the Creator of all things.
In a likeness -- Christ -- the Lord -- set a time in eternity when He would give His absolute authority over to another King made like unto Himself -- King Jesus. He thereby -- set a time for His own death to absolute rule over Himself.
The eternal clock of the Alpha Kingdom would stop at that stake or Cross. Death would take the life of the Alpha God and His Creation and cause His life to be forever submitted to another God called Jesus the King.
That is why Christ is mindful of man -- because Jesus is a true man made in the image of God.
(Heb 2:6 KJV) But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou vitest him?
(Heb 2:7 KJV) Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
(Heb 2:8 KJV) Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
(Heb 2:9 KJV) But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Christ foresaw that there would come a day when He would submit Himself to the man created in Christ’s own image called Jesus.
However -- at this point -- we have a problem arise. It sounds like we have two Sons of God: Christ the Lord and Jesus the King. Both equally God and both heirs to the throne of God. Is that possible? Are they two separate beings or are they but two names for the same being?
Well -- if Jesus doesn’t have a spirit of His own He isn’t a true man. To die in the place of a man for Sin you have to be a true man: A being with a body soul and spirit. That is how we are made. We are a three-part being and so -- is Jesus before the Holy Spirit indwells Him.
Christ is a Spirit being. Until He indwelt Jesus -- He had no dirt body. He was qualified to die for spiritual beings because He is a Spirit being -- but to die for a man I must be a man. When the Spirit of Christ indwelt Jesus the man -- who had His own Spirit -- they two became one flesh -- but they were two beings in one body -- named Jesus the Christ.
So do we have two Sons of God? You decide for yourself.
This likeness isn’t unfounded in the Scriptures. There are many stories about two sons of the patriarchs. Adam and Eve had two sons; Adam and Eve were born as two sons made in the image of God until God made some changes in one of them and he became Eve.
Abraham had two sons; Jacob had two favorite sons; The story about the rich man that had two sons. The only difference between the sons of men and the sons of God is that the sons of God are in agreement with each other and even subject to one another. Even to the point where the older is subject to the younger: In the measurement of time Christ is much older than Jesus.
When Sin entered Creation -- that event was of a magnitude equal to the original creative event of the Alpha Kingdom. Because the Alpha Kingdom ceased to be a Kingdom of light. At the moment that Sin was born into Creation -- the righteous Kingdom of God died and a Kingdom of death was born.
That light of the righteous Creation that was based on the grace of God for all of Creation died. A new life would have to be born from that death and God would call it -- resurrection life. No plan formed against that resurrection life could accomplish its purpose.
Resurrection life is life after Sin is dead. That is how it is eternal. The Omega Kingdom is eternal because Sin is dead and no Sin can ever enter that Omega Kingdom. Self-rule dies at the doorway into the Omega Kingdom or it doesn’t get in.
The Cross not only pays for Sin -- but it solves forever the danger of Sin ever-- ever -- entering the new Creation again. That everlasting Omega Kingdom of resurrection life is the Kingdom we are invited to live in under the authority of King Jesus. Only a fool wouldn’t take up the offer.
