Chapter Twenty
The Works of Christ
(Heb 1:10 KJV) And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
We see here that the Christ of old -- sometimes called the Alpha God -- laid the foundation of the Earth -- or set in order the Heavens and the Earth and they are the works of His hands. Then Christ the Lord -- dies to being Lord over Creation because He created it by the work of His hands. Christ did that by setting aside His glory and Lordship over Creation and descends into the body of Jesus and is born again.
We as people that have never seen the glory of the Christ that made Heaven and the Earth -- don’t really realize the magnitude of that event in Heaven. The awesome God that created all things by the Word of His power and holds all things together by that same power-- left it all behind and hid Himself in a baby named Jesus born in Bethlehem of Judea.
What an event that must have been as all of heaven looks on as Christ the Lord sets aside His glory and descends into the Earth to become subject to a God-man named Jesus.
Uniqueness Of Jesus and
His Kingdom
(1 Pet 1:7 KJV) That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
(1 Pet 1:8 KJV) Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
(1 Pet 1:9 KJV) Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
(1 Pet 1:10 KJV) Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
(1 Pet 1:11 KJV) Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
Here is a little tidbit of Truth that could easily be missed. Verse 11 says that the Spirit of Christ was in men like Abraham – Noah – Jeremiah – Isaiah. This idea that these men of the Old Testament didn’t have the Spirit of God in them is not true.
(1 Pet 1:12 KJV) Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
(1 Pet 1:13 KJV) Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
Understanding Jesus
To understand the uniqueness of Jesus I must first understand that Jesus was a true man. He is a body – soul and spirit. We read about the spirit of Jesus. That means that He as a man has a spirit of his own. Just like we have a body soul and spirit – so does Jesus or He isn’t a true man
Some how we get this idea that Jesus is just the name of Christ’s body and that His spirit is Christ the Lord. Christ the Lord indwells Jesus just as He indwells us. Christ didn’t just make a body so He would have a place to dwell on earth. Jesus was born with the Spirit of Christ in Him but He also has His own Spirit or He isn’t a true man.
To understand that we have to understand the purpose that Jesus the God-man was given a body for -- and how He fits into the purpose of God. We have talked about the purpose of man before -- but it bears much more discussion because it is an eternal purpose and so --you can’t explain it in a few sentences.
Ask yourself – Why was it necessary for God to make man in the first place? We hear that question asked in: –
(Heb 2:6 KJV) But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
(Heb 2:7 KJV) Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
In my mind the question begs to be answered – how come God has invited man to sit with Him on His throne forever? That is an awesome appointment.
(Eph 2:6 KJV) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Why would such an appointment be made? Wouldn’t it make all the rest of Creation jealous for such a gift to be made to a mere created being called man? Man is a spirit being with a soul and a body made of dirt.
I believe that the creation of a man was a necessity for God to get from where He was to where He wanted to go. This God-man named Jesus will divide eternity past from eternity future. Christ the Lord brought forth this creature called man -- designed to accomplish that goal and Christ the Lord chose to call him a man. Man is God’s rescue Ark for taking the cursed Alpha Creation through death into the Omega Kingdom that is blessed and will last forever.
Isn’t that amazing when we understand it. God said to Noah who was an Ark himself by which God would become a man through man – Ark-- Build an Ark. Now Noah couldn’t just go ahead a build and Ark without God telling him what to do each moment – than Noah could go ahead a build himself into the image of God. We need the direction of God each moment of each day or we won’t come out where we have been destined to be.
Well then the question comes into mind – Does God need anyone to get to where He wants to go? Isn’t He in all places at all times? Yes – but the unfolding of His purpose to be revealed in a certain way requires that He go through the steps that lead to that revelation of what He is really like and what He really wants His Creation to know about Him.
To just say God is everywhere at all times doesn’t take into account the fact that God had to indwell Jesus the God- man and then die on a Cross to get to where He wanted to go. He wasn’t always there until He lived it out on earth.
All of His works are known to Him before the foundation of the world – or before the beginning of Creation – however His works are done progressively so that Creation can understand that there are steps to get to a goal and you can’t just go from one realm to another without going through all the steps.

This is seen in —
(Luke 16:16 KJV) The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
(Luke 16:17 KJV) And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
(Luke 16:18 KJV) Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.
This is saying that in order for us to go from one realm of relationship to another there has to be a death or we will be committing adultery concerning the first relationship.
This is a law of God and He submits Himself to His own laws so in order for God to go from one realm of relationship to another there must be steps that are needed to get there.
So --with that Truth in view --we look back to the time when God existed alone before there was an Universe. Then we see in Gen.1:1 that God speaks and the Universe comes into existence. At that time Christ is the Alpha God in time. He is the beginning of all Creation. That Creation included everything that was made and without Him was nothing made. All the angels were there to shout for joy for all that was made including themselves.
At this point in Creation all was clean and pure – righteous and holy. Yet in the heart of God there was a knowledge that because God gave creatures in Creation the power to choose who they would believe -- there could arise a Lie that called all that God has said not true. That possibility was there and so --with it was the danger that if that Lie ever got a voice to repeat itself – Creation would become unholy and a great curse could fill the Universe. All that is required to allow a lie to grow is to give it a voice.
However -- God had hidden within Himself a plan that would make that Lie bless Creation and lift it higher if it ever got a voice. God doesn’t just fix Sin He makes it a blessing because it makes the original Creation better. That is the kind of God we serve. He makes all things work together for our blessing -- if we will live according to His will.
So the time comes when Lucifer – the arc Angel -- listens to The Lie and decides to believe what it promises him. Lucifer has become proud and lifted up because of his beauty and wisdom and so wants to be a god himself without the need to submit to the Lord Christ. I don’t mean the Lord Jesus because Jesus hasn’t been born yet. At this point in time we are talking about the Lord Christ.
The Lie
(Gen 2:17 KJV) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
(Ezek 18:4 KJV) Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
(Ezek 18:20 KJV) The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
In these Scriptures we hear God say that the soul that sins will die. He didn’t say the body that sins – He said the soul that sins. The soul is our mind – emotions and will. It’s that area where we believe something or we don’t believe something.
So it’s the soul that believes something that isn’t the Truth that dies first. Then-- when that soul dies because it believed The Lie – that person comes under the sentence of death.
Death is the sentence that passes from the soul into the body because a soul can’t die in the sense that the body dies. When a soul dies -- it loses its contact with God but it remains in the realm of the spirit disconnected from the presence of God.
So when the soul believes The Lie it dies or loses its contact with God and comes under the sentence of death. Then-- the body begins to die physically because it has lost its relationship to the life giving power of God..
When we stop believing The Lie and begin to believe The Truth we are delivered from the curse of The Lie which is death and so -- pass from death to life.
(John 8:51 KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
It is further revealed in the Scriptures that the Lord is the Lord of the Truth of His Word and He has exalted His Word above His name. In other words --He will bow to His own Truth and submit even Himself to what it says. So the most powerful thing in all of Creation is the Word’s of the Lord. God is bound to what He has said to make it come to pass.
Then because The Lie is the opposite to The Truth the power of The Lie will take a person that believes it as far in the wrong direction as they have the power to go. Because we are people made in the likeness of God with authority in the earth we have power to make things happen in the earth.
The Lie has no power of its own because God doesn’t give His own power to The Lie – but The Lie steals the power of the person that gives themselves to believe it and destroys them with their own power. That is why we see that the use of money is important when The Lie is in control because the use or misuse of money is The Lie’s power source.
God pronounces death on The Lie by the curse that The Lie brings. Then the person that believes The Lie is made to use their own power to consume themselves – therefore causing The Lie and those that believe it to have an end.
This reveals that it’s The Lie that is our greatest enemy not sin. Sin is the fruit of The Lie – but it’s The Lie that causes anyone that believes it to try to exalt themselves above The Truth of God. Yet-- I don’t think that I have ever heard anyone preach or teach on what The Lie is or how it works.
(John 8:44 KJV) Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Satan is the father of The Lie because he gave The Lie his life and voice so that The Lie had life. Before Lucifer did that-- The Lie couldn’t speak because it has no life of its own. As soon as Lucifer gave The Lie a voice because he believed what The Lie promised him – The Lie took control over Lucifer and he became Satan – an enemy of God and His Truth.
Because Satan did that --he made himself the father of The Lie because he birthed it just like a father births a son. In the order of Creation Lucifer was first created – then he gave The Lie life when he believed it. Then a new creation was birthed in which The Lie was brought forth and it took control of Lucifer and made him into Satan and Satan was now the slave of The Lie.
You can see this same thing happen with Eve in the Garden of Eden. She is brought forth believing The Truth and so -- is a part of that Creation. Then she believes The Lie and gives The Lie a voice. When The Lie is given life it becomes the lord of that fallen creation and puts Eve under the bondage of that fallen kingdom. Eve is her fallen name – just as Satan is Lucifer’s fallen name. When Eve was created her name was 'ishshah. After the fall Adam named her Eve because she was now the mother of all that will come into the fallen Creation as fallen people.
It’s very important that we understand what The Lie says and how it takes control of all that will believe it. The Lie is very simple – it tells us that we can disobey God and His Truth and still get blessed and we won’t die. That is what The Lie says – it says don’t believe The Truth but believe me – The Lie – and I will give you what you want the quick and easy way. Then it says – if you do that you won’t really die.
This is important to note. The Lie says – if you believe me you won’t really die. The Lie is saying the truth in its own realm because in the realm of The Lie you can be your own god and not die in that realm. As long as you believe The Lie of self-rule you stay in that realm and live forever in the cursed realm. That is what being born again saves me out of. I’m born again into The Truth realm and in that realm all lies die. In the realm of The Truth I must leave The Lie behind and enter the realm of The Truth by believing The Truth as Jesus tells it in the Scriptures.
When you believe The Lie and you’re in the realm of the God of The Truth you die immediately. You leave the realm of The Truth and enter the realm of The Lie and don’t die there – you live in the realm of The Lie cursed forever. That is why Hell is forever if you believe The Lie forever. So what is the truth of God’s realm is the lie of Satan’s realm and the worst part is that many times the realm of The Lie doesn’t look different from the realm of The Truth right a first.
Well let me try to illustrate that. If I believe that I have an inheritance and everything that comes to me is inheritance from the Lord and then let’s say I receive increase from some source. I will give God the glory and thank Him for my inheritance and His name will be lifted up. That is how the fruit of The Truth looks in action.
Now let’s say I believe The Lie that if I work real hard and increase comes to me because of my works then I’m lifted up by my success and am encouraged do that same thing again. Then I give ten percent of that increase to some good work. That all looks good and it is very hard to tell the difference between the two actions – yet one is The Truth in action and the other is The Lie in action.
What is the deciding factor that determines how the Lord sees what I’m doing? ...What I believe decides what I’m doing. If I believe in blessings by inheritance only — then that is how I receive increase. If I believe in blessing by working then that is how I receive increase. So it is what I believe that determines what I’m doing in God’s eyes.

That reveals how important it is to hear and believe The Truth. Yet TheTruth taught so it can be understood isn’t taught hardly at all.
So The Lie is our arch enemy and the moment we believe what it says we become Sin. God has sentenced all who are Sin to death. So Sin is the evidence of The Lie and death is the consequences of being Sin.
Well how do the Ten Commandments fit into this picture?... The Ten Commandments are for the unrighteous.
(1 Tim 1:9 KJV) Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
(1 Tim 1:10 KJV) For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
The law is given for those that defile themselves with trying to make The Lie bless them and believing that when they do that-- they won’t die. It’s called defiling themselves with mankind.
The Ten Commandments were given until we all come into the knowledge of The Truth where those commandments are the natural fruit of a changed life that believes the Truth. They’re given so that the kingdoms of this world won’t destroy everyone before they can receive the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and are born again.
The law is the revelation of God’s goodness to the fallen kingdoms of the world and those that live in them until they are born again and change kingdoms. Those people are supposed to be born again into the Kingdom of God where those commandments are written on their heart so that doing them is a natural way of life that is born out of receiving all things by inheritance.
Religion today teaches that if we can just get people to do the right thing then the troubles of the world will get fixed. No – doing the right thing is the worst enemy of believing the right thing. If we will believe The Truth we will do the right thing – but we can do right things and still believe The Lie.
Right after people get saved they are taught to just do the right thing and stop sinning and everything will be alright. Well-- it’s always good to stop sinning because sinning has consequences -- but to just stop sinning will make you religious if you don’t know the truth about believing what The Truth says.
The Lie will encourage you to do the right thing so long as you don’t learn to believe The Truth. In order to believe The Truth you have to know what The Truth says; To know what The Truth says --you have to be around someone that knows what the Truth says and believes it. Now that is hard to find.
Lucifer Falls
When Lucifer believes The Lie that said to him – if you will believe that you can bless yourself by doing what you want to do – I will bless you and make you greater than God and you won’t die. That is The Lie’s voice to anyone that will believe it. When Lucifer believed that Lie he became Sin.
When he believed The Lie he committed fornication with another god – The Lie – and the first relationship that was based on The Truth was broken. Sin now entered the Universe and quickly began to contaminate one third of the angels because The Lie now has a voice to repeat itself.
Sin is like yeast or leaven and it was released into the Universe and God’s perfect Creation was now no longer perfect. It wasn’t holy or righteous any more and God was now faced with how He as going to deal with this disease called Sin.
God had limitations as to what He could do because He is a God of love and He says love your enemies – so how can He just destroy Satan for what he has done? It isn’t a question of power – it is a question of establishing the laws that His Kingdom will function on. He can’t break those laws to fix a problem because then He would become sin Himself.
He can’t just erase everything and start over because then He would be revealing that He made a mistake and He doesn’t make mistakes. Well God has a plan that was in place before He even started to create anything. All His works are known to Him before He started to create Creation.
God can’t start over and He can’t use war and violence to correct the problem -- so what will He do? First He pronounces death on Sin. He decrees that the penalty for The Lie and it s fruit which is Sin will be self-consuming. That is what death is – it consumes everything it touches and because it has no life of its own – it consumes the life of the one that it gets its life from and so-- kills itself.
Now this is where you will have to think out of the Christian box that you have thought in all your Christian life. Christ the Lord is the Creator of all of Creation and by His nature assumes responsibility for what happens within His Creation.
Therefore --He being responsible for what has happened – He isn’t guilty of Sin -- but He is responsible for Sin’s existence and so -- must fix the problem Himself. But we have a big problem – the one responsible for the Sin must die for the Sin. Christ can’t die – He is the self-existing One.
This is what Satan was counting on when he chose to go the way of The Lie. He thought that if he chose rebellion to live by and make that the power of his realm – then Christ couldn’t touch Him without becoming like Him and if Christ did that -- Christ would be submitting to Satan’s ways.
It was really a smart plan -- but one thing was missing – Satan didn’t know about death because there was no death before Sin was born. Satan’s fall was certain because he was so foolish as to think that he could out smart God. I hasten to say though – don’t mock Satan for that because that is what we think every time we don’t do what God has said to do.
Now God needs a creature – and we will call him what God called him – a man. This man must be someone that is so special and trust worthy that God can change realms through Him – because God is going to become Sin and so take away Sin’s ability to speak by killing it and taking it to the grave. In order to do that-- the man will have to die and the Lord will have to die also because He Himself is going to become Sin in the man.
This being called man has to be unique. He has to be of the substance of the earth –dirt – so he will have authority in the earth. He has to be God so he can sit in the place of God and rule. He has to be completely innocent of any wrong doing and not responsible for anything that has been done up to the point of his birth. He can never have created anything and so-- pure from any contamination of being responsible for what Creation has done.

If God can find such a man He will make Him ruler of all things and even submit Himself to him. In other words – Christ the Lord – the Creator will submit Himself to this man and only do what this man gives Him authority to do. Christ will retain the power – but this man will have all authority over that power. This God- man already exists but He hasn’t become a human yet. He has remained hidden from before the creation of the Universe. He is a hid treasure.
So God becomes pregnant with the sperm of this new man who’s name will be Jesus the man. So we look back to the beginning of Creation and we hear God say – let’s make man in our image and after our likeness – (Gen 1:26 KJV) And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Now I”m going to say something that will require you to think deeper -- but before you call me a hieratic-- think a minute and listen and then you can call me what ever you want to. God didn’t make Adam completely in God’s likeness at first because God didn’t have a dirt body and Adam did.
So God was prophesying what He Himself would become in the future because He made man in the image of what God would become in Jesus Christ. God would become a man and so-- Adam was made in both the image of what God was and what God would become. Man was like an Ark that would allow God to enter into him – take on a dirt body that could die and then -- die for the Sin of the world. Arise from the dead and be the firstborn of many sons to live forever without Sin. Resurrected life from the dead.
So when God said in Psalm 2:7... This day have I begotten thee God was referring to the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead because on that day the Father begot the second Adam in His total likeness.
Do you realize what that means?... God had made man in the image of what God Himself would become in Jesus Christ – therefore Jesus was made in a higher image than God was when He made man. You see – God had never died before and couldn’t die until He became a man.
Are you beginning to see the wonder of this man called Jesus? He is a one of a kind being and the first of His kind when He arose from the dead. His human life before the Cross was the seed that would bring forth the resurrected man that had passed through death to become the Omega God of the future.
There was never another being like Him and He would be the first of many more like Him so that we are also born from the dead are called the sons of God.
God is so smart. God didn’t make man in the image that God was in at the time He created man because God was going to have to be different outwardly in the future. So He made man in the image that God would become in Jesus.
In the garden of Eden we see there that God came into the Garden of Eden and announced that He would die for Sin by becoming Sin Himself and take the Lie and Sin to the grave with Him. There Jesus Christ placed Sin in it’s proper place – the place of death and when Sin is in the place of death it is a blessing and is the foundation on which the Truth stands.
Dead Sin is the foundation of the Living Truth. When The Lie is dead then The Truth lives within Creation and within the person where that is true. God truly does make all things work together for our good if we will do as He says.
Now again – think outside the Christian box. Christ the Alpha God is moving toward the place of the Omega God. He has submitted Himself to Jesus the man and so -- Christ is in a sense dead to His own will and alive to the will of Jesus the man. Christ can only do as Jesus agrees to do. Therefore-- Christ has died to Himself in Jesus. Yet-- Jesus has no power of His own and so can only do what Christ the Lord within Him wants to do. So between the two of them every thing is established in the mouth of two witnesses.
Jesus will forever be a King without power and Christ will forever be a Lord without authority – yet together as One they have all power and authority and in the mouth of both of them everything is established.
That is a beautiful revelation of the relationship that is God’s design in a man and his wife. Separate they can do nothing and together they can do all things in Christ.
Don’t you try to function outside that Truth because God Himself has submitted Himself to that Truth as the way of blessings. He is not going to allow you to operate outside of that order.
That is the order that every household must be following if they are going to get blessed. The man has the authority to lead – but the wife has the power to get things done and between the two of them the power of God will fill their lives if they follow that order.
God is establishing that the future Kingdom of God is a place where no Lie has ever dwelt and no fallen creature has been. Nothing has ever entered it that could defile it and nothing will ever be able to enter it because to be able to enter the Kingdom of God you must pass through the door which is Jesus the Christ. To do that-- you must die to self-rule. Without that reality you will never enter the Temple of the Kingdom of God.
In Creation there is a Foundation and a Temple. Together they make up the dwelling place of God forever. The Alpha Kingdom is in the likeness of a foundation. The Omega Kingdom is in the likeness of a Temple. Just as the Earth is in the likeness of a foundation and Heaven is in the likeness of a Temple
Our physical bodies are in a likeness to a foundation and our Spirit man is in the likeness of the Temple where God dwells. The Universe we see now is in a likeness to a foundation because it is where Sin was born and died. The Universe to come will be in the likeness of the Temple of God’s fullness of glory. It will be a place of unimaginable beauty and peace with love.
Before we can move from one realm to another realm we must pass through death to self-rule. As self-rule dies in each of us – Jesus Christ will arise as Lord over us. That is the process to move from one realm of authority to another. We must come to the place of loving adoration of the Lordship of Jesus over us. We are invited – but we must come to Him in love for Him.

The difference between the Alpha God and the Omega God is that the Alpha God had never died. The Alpha God’s realm wasn’t the realm of resurrection life – it was the realm of life coming forth from life. The Omega Kingdom is the realm of life coming forth from death.
You must have resurrection life to enter the Kingdom of God and the only way you can have resurrection life is that you must have died first. The Kingdom of God that Jesus preached in the Scriptures is the Kingdom of resurrection life. It’s not the Kingdom of the God of the past. That Kingdom is going to die so that it can take all those beings in it to the grave forever. It’s interesting to consider that another application for the word foundation would be the grave. You must be in a grave before you can come forth in a resurrection. Before a foundation can come forth into the likeness of a Temple there has to be a resurrection.
The old Kingdom of God -- which I call the Alpha Kingdom was head quartered in heaven where the throne of God is now and has always been. I believe that -- that throne will pass away and form the foundation for the new throne that will be established forever. The new throne will be in Jerusalem where Jesus will sit and rule forever.
I know that there are teachings that say that the throne on earth will be an extension of the one in Heaven but I don’t believe so. The throne in Heaven is a throne that was established on the life of God without death. The new throne in Jerusalem is the throne established on life from the dead. Only life from the dead is eternal life. Life among the dead is eternal death. That is what Hell is – life among the dead or eternal death.
No ground in the entire Universe has ever had the blood of God spilled on it. No place in the heavens has ever been used to crucify the Son of God. The Earth and specifically Jerusalem is as unique in the Universe as the Man Jesus that died and arose again is unique and so I believe that the Earth will be the mother of all the resurrected life that fills the Kingdom of God in the future. The Earth is like a womb and as the Lord Jesus Christ sows His seed -- Truth -- in the Earth – spirit beings from the distant past become humans destined for the distant future. Those human sons of God become Kings representing their Lord in the future worlds of the Universe.
Jesus the Christ is going to make a new Heaven and a new Earth wherein dwells righteousness.
(2 Pet 3:13 KJV) Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
So we see in order to establish blessing by inheritance -- Christ that was Lord by His works -- becomes Jesus the Christ who never had done any works of creation. Christ becomes the Lord Jesus of resting to be blessed -- or blessings by inheritance. Creation must now be changed to conform to the coming King over it. He is the Lord Jesus Christ -- The God of rest to be blessed -- which is blessings by inheritance.
Well -- I was wondering -- How do I know that Christ the Lord was in Jesus when Jesus was born? It says in -- (Luke 2:25 KJV) And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
(Luke 2:26 KJV) And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.
So Simeon saw the Lord’s Christ when he saw Jesus. In the Greek that is saying that when Simeon looked at Jesus he was seeing God’s Christ -- so Christ must have been in Jesus when Jesus was born.
God established in Genesis that all things bring forth after their kind. So the Christ that did works to be blessed -- brought forth a Creation that was after that kind. That Creation would produce after that kind. That kind being those that tend toward working to be blessed. It says in -- (Gen 3:17 KJV) And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
(Gen 3:18 KJV) Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
(Gen 3:19 KJV) In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
By Adam and Eve believing that they could do works to be blessed -- also being the heads over Creation -- caused the curse of working to be blessed to pass onto the earth. This fulfilled the authority of the Word of God that said that we will bring forth after our kind.
Adam and Eve were living examples of the Christ that brought them forth in that they did works to be blessed. It is true that Adam and Eve were deceived into thinking they could do that and Christ the Lord only did the works of restoration because of His love for Creation. Yet -- He made no distinction between doing works ignorantly or doing them knowingly for a good reason. The price was still the same. Death to all those that do works to be blessed.
Now realize that God didn’t decree that death was the penalty for doing works to be blessed until after the works were completed – so God wasn’t sinning when He did the works of restoration. God saw that those works of restoration were good -- but He also saw that they weren’t perfect because of what was going to happen to Adam and Eve because of their choice.
That should help us realize that having a good excuse doesn’t mean anything when we act contrary to the revealed will of God concerning Sin.
